CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 (used, confirmed functional)
GPU: Asus ROG Strix GTX 1070 (used, confirmed functional)
MOBO: Asus Prime x470 Pro (used from FB market)
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 3000Mhz CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 (new)
Case: NZXT H5 Flow (new)
PSU: Corsair CX650M Bronze (used, confirmed functional)
Storage: M.2 WD Black 500GB, 1TB WD Blue SSD (both new)
This build is quite unusual for my younger sibling, combining some of my previous PC components with newer ones we acquired. After assembling everything for a few days, it powers up successfully. The CPU cooler fans are active, GPU fans are running, and the I/O remains powered. However, there’s no display and USB devices such as the mouse and keyboard aren’t responding. I’ve reset the CMOS, experimented with different RAM setups (single vs dual sticks, all available slots), tested various RAM brands and configurations from other builds, performed a BIOS hard reset per the instructions in a POST-related post, re-seated and cleaned the CPU and GPU connectors, and even switched power cables to the CPU. Since it’s the first-gen Ryzen, I’m confident the motherboard supports it. The previous owner used a Ryzen 7 3700X with a 3070ti and 16GB of 3200mhz DDR4 Corsair Vengeance. I’ve also tried different monitors and USB peripherals, using both HDMI and DisplayPort, but the issue persists. Reviewing the POST guide thoroughly and trying everything possible, I’m still unsure what’s causing the problem. At this stage, I’m really hoping for a solution before considering a new motherboard.**

This motherboard should support the first generation Ryzen out of the box.
Check the manufacturer's website for confirmation.
It appears it should be possible to connect an internal speaker.
Attempt the connection according to the motherboard's User Guide/Manual, and pay close attention to any beep codes.
Focus on recognizing both long and short beeps in their sequence.
= = = =
Also test booting into Safe mode.
Does this function correctly?

It wasn't included with an internal or chassis speaker, so I removed everything except the CPU and cooler to check for any built-in components that would emit a beep when RAM or GPU wasn't detected, and there was silence.
Yes, I verified the support site and confirmed my chip is listed there. The previous owner had an updated CPU BIOS version before me, which means my chip remains compatible.
I don’t have a way to boot into safe mode; there are no inputs or display when power is applied.

Connecting the monitor to the GPU or the motherboard is the question.

Confirming. Ensuring all motherboard mounts were positioned accurately prior to installation.

This link is for the auxiliary port located at the front of the case, which uses a 3.5mm jack.

I utilized all available mounting points and the included screws, and they worked perfectly. Is that the point you were asking about?

"This link is for the auxiliary output on the front of the case, it’s a 3.5mm jack."
What’s stopping a small speaker or earphones from working?
