Do you have any extra components? I think checking out or purchasing them with the goal of returning a PSU makes a reasonable check for strange behavior. Good luck!

It seems like you're considering a very high-power supply unit. Most systems work fine with a 600W or even 500W PSU. It's not unusual for components to function properly at lower wattages, though it doesn't guarantee perfection. Defects can still occur occasionally.

I got it for less then 200€ new from one of the biggest retailers here in germany, it was only like 20-30€ more than the 1000W powersupply I was gonna get so seemed worth it for the futureproof and extra efficiency. Also I'm planning on getting a 5080. the RX 590 was a placeholder GPU i got from a friend while i waited for the 50 series to release
