System fails to display DP during PC startup.

Hi, your new PC came online but didn’t display anything. After connecting via HDMI, it worked fine except for 4K at 60Hz, which is limited to 30Hz on HDMI. Later you noticed the DP connection functioned only after the system loaded Windows. This suggests you need an HDMI cable every time you want to tweak BIOS settings. Have anyone found a workaround?

Press the Del key or your preferred key for BIOS, but still enter the BIOS. I experienced a similar issue with a dual screen setup, causing the BIOS to load on the HMDI screen instead of the DP port. Now the problem is fixed and the DP port shows the initial display.

Was das Problem weiterhin besteht nachdem du den Stromkabel des Computers entfernt und wieder angeschlossen hast? Hast du den Monitor vor dem Einschalten des Computers eingeschaltet? Diese Grafikkarten können manchmal unberechenbar sein und vermeiden die Anschlüsse, vielleicht hat jemand bei der BIOS-Einstellung entschieden, dass HDMI und DisplayPort nicht mehr benötigt werden.

Before creating my own setup, I used a different machine equipped with an ASRock z370 and identical graphics card. That worked fine then, but now I’m using a Nzxt b550 board.

It might occur if the graphics card fails to recognize the monitor via the display port. Try using another cable or monitor. Checking BIOS settings could also help resolve the issue.
