System fails to boot completely after startup.
I experienced a PSU failure about a month ago that damaged most of my components. I managed to allocate sufficient time and funds for replacements. I swapped out the motherboard, PSU, and RAM (the GPU remained functional). During an out-of-case test, the motherboard was active but other parts failed to power on completely. The fans on the GPU, CPU heatsink, and PSU started but halted after a minute. I've attempted nearly every solution to get it working, but it still doesn't function. The CPU is a Ryzen 5 2600 (also has a 3600, but I'm trying to update the BIOS). The RAM is Asus B450-F Strix, Corsair Vengeance 3000MHz GPU, MSI RTX 2060 Super PSU, Corsair CX650M SSD, Samsung M.2 256GB HDD (Seagate 2TB and 4TB). None are installed yet.
Have you used it without the GPU? A PSU failure might have harmed the GPU components.
You're certain the CPU is functional and undamaged. It's possible a specific part like memory controller or one or two cores is faulty. I checked with just one RAM stick, but the ASUS B450-F StriX includes Q-LEDs and a debug LED for CPU, RAM, GPU, and boot device. It indicates where the POST halts.
The LEDs on the motherboard are lighting up and the RAM is fresh. I purchased both items today.
It shows the reason why the system fails to start, helping identify the issue.
