Hey everyone! I’m trying to share my experience about the recent PC upgrade. It wasn’t perfect from the start, but it worked for what I needed. Now that I’m using a newer machine, I’m facing some frustrating problems—like stuttering and random freezes on the desktop. At first I thought it was Windows 11, but switching back to Windows 10 didn’t help much. It’s still a bit annoying.

Here’s what I have:
- New specs: RX 6700XT (Red Devil), Ryzen 5 5600X
- 32GB DDR4 3733 RAM (previously mentioned as 4000)
- ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F 1TB SSD
- Samsung 500GB m.2 SSD
- Western Digital 6TB HDD

Although it’s not a 4090, the Ryzen and Windows seem to be causing issues. Any suggestions on what might be going wrong? Thanks a lot! (PS—sorry for the grammar, let the Dyslexic Be)

It seems you're suggesting the RAM is probably running at the standard DDR4 speed of 2133 MHz rather than the higher frequency you mentioned.

They're operating at a frequency of 3733, not 4000.

New specifications were overlooked. RAM requirements from Ryzens and supporting boards tend to be strict, especially for QVL lists. The 5600X is limited to 3200 Mhz RAM. Updated on January 31, 2023 by An0maly_76 Revised

For better results, consider skipping DOCP and checking the default settings. It’s wise to verify compatibility with the board manufacturer’s RAM/CPU guides. If your RAM is built for speeds above 3200, that could be a concern with the 5600X. Updated: January 31, 2023 by An0maly_76 Added more details
