I’ve owned and operated this gaming PC for two years without issues until recently. I took the time to update drivers and install the latest Windows 10 version after downloading everything. Once everything was ready, I started playing Modern Warfare 2019. I managed a few matches, but the next one froze completely. I had to end the session and now I can’t play Call of Duty at all. Occasionally I manage to finish a game, sometimes it crashes during opening credits or in the lobby. Most times it just freezes, or it crashes the whole system and restarts. This issue appears with both Modern Warfare 2019 and Modern Warfare 2. I rolled back my graphics driver, checked for corruption in both game files—they looked fine. I can still play Minecraft and Fortnite without problems. A stress test showed my GPU handled 98% load for five minutes without errors, but the CPU flagged issues during a more intense test. I tried to identify the problem using OCCT’s free version, but I’m unsure how to interpret the errors. My specs are: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050, 16GB RAM, G.Skill Ripjaws WCD 1TB SSD, Intel i5-11400. Any suggestions on resolving this would be greatly appreciated. Only overclocking my RAM to 3200MHz has helped so far, but the game is now very choppy.

I completed the dry steps download for both the old version and the new driver, which put the system into safe start mode. After running DDU, the process restarted successfully. Once it did, I downloaded the driver again, but my network was disabled. It seemed to resolve the issue, though I was almost through a match when the screen froze and the PC crashed—not just the game. I’m still confused about what happened.
