Hello all, For about a week I have been having an issue where my computer randomly restarts. This topic is the closest thing I could find to someone having the same issue, but I have not overclocked my cpu. I currently have a Ryzen 9 5950x, but here is my full build in case it helps. This computers cpu, motherboard, and memory was upgraded 1/6, and the crashes started happening consistently 3/26 Essentially what my issue is that my computer will randomly freeze and then reboot itself. It does not blue screen, and it can happen when I am playing a game or when the PC is idle. There is nothing that actually triggers the restart from what I can tell. On 4/8, I updated my bios in an attempt to fix the issue and it fixed it for about five days, however, it has gone back to consistently crashing. Does anyone have any idea on what I can do to help fix my issue? From what I can tell everywhere on the internet, it might have something to do with my cpu voltage, but I have no clue. Since you didn't focus on the CPU alone, consider stress-testing your RAM—my go-to is TM5 with extreme1 @anta777 config. I experienced those WHEA-Logger warnings during RAM overclocking, which caused instability.
I haven't adjusted any parts except for allowing xmp, which some might consider overclocking. Still, I can perform stress tests if that helps identify the problem. Could you provide the download links for both the T-Mobile 5G model and the configuration file? I'm having trouble locating them.
Completed a thorough memory test with MemTest64. Runs lasted roughly fifteen minutes without any issues. @BuzzingBee
https://www.overclock.net/threads/memory...s.1751608/ Running XMP should be fine, but it looks like you're using 2 kits of 2x16G ram which may be the problem. Gonna need to run various memory test to make sure it's actually stable.
A short memtest wastes time. Consider increasing the SOC voltage. If that fails, try using two sticks. Follow the instructions for TM5. XMP is causing overclocking.
