When choosing Asus options, there are various models to consider. A B450 could work if you intend to keep the 3600 model for an extended period, but a B550 offers more flexibility, especially if you plan to upgrade your CPU later. The Prime M-Ks are budget-friendly boards but may struggle with higher temperatures from stronger processors; they're suitable only if you don't anticipate upgrading. For future-proofing, the Tuf B550-PLUS is a better choice, particularly if you're targeting a Zen3 processor. The Tuf B550-PRO includes a USB 3.2 header. I currently use the B550-PLUS with my 5900X. Be mindful of the B550M-PLUS versus B550-PLUS (no M) distinction—I use the latter. If you're planning to replace RAM, the Patriot Viper 432G320C6K is a solid option; it features two 16GB DDR4-3200 modules and comes in various finishes like Steel, Blackout, RGB, Elite, etc., with prefixes such as PVB or PVS. These boards are well-tested for stability. Avoid getting caught up in RAM sizes beyond 3200—DDR4-3600 is acceptable, but anything above that tends to be overpriced and unnecessary.
