System experiences unexpected failures.
For roughly a month now, my computer suddenly shuts down and restarts briefly. When it crashes, the screen goes dark but the fans continue running. After a few seconds, it powers back up and all open applications close. I've updated my PC and GPU drivers, yet the issue persists. I can still play games without problems, but the crashes happen occasionally while gaming. Online sources suggest it might be related to a failing GPU, though I'm not certain.
Checking the Windows Event Viewer for entries near the crash times can help identify potential issues.
Yesterday my computer ran smoothly without any issues. Now it has crashed twice and displayed several errors and warnings in the event viewer near the crash points. First, the permission settings for the application-specific configuration don’t allow Local Launch access for the COM Server app with the specified CLSID and APPID. This restriction can be adjusted via the Component Services admin tool. Second, the GameInput Service stopped unexpectedly, occurring five times already. A restart of the service will be performed within one second.
