Pc specifications: CPU - Ryzen 5 9600X, Motherboard - Gigabyte B850M Gaming X WIFI6E, Cooler - Gigabyte Gaming 360 ICE, RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16x2 GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30, PSU - Aorus Elite 850W Platinum ICE, Storage - Kingston NVMe M.2 1TB, OS installed - Windows 11, drivers updated via Gigabyte Control Center, BIOS update completed successfully from version F1 to F4 without issues, login problem initially requiring password entry, overheating observed after boot even at idle with fans increasing immediately, restarted multiple times but issue persisted. Overall hardware appears functional despite the temperature concern.

None of these readings indicate overheating. The critical range for CPU cores is around 95°C. A temperature of 67.4°C during idle is slightly elevated for AMD, though still within acceptable limits. How do the temperatures rise when the system is under stress?

You can run a CPU stress test and monitor the temperatures afterward. I recommend using tools like Prime95 or AIDA64 for this purpose. After testing, check the recorded temperatures to see how they behave during stress conditions.

These temperatures are high when idle, but only become a problem if you reach 95°C during active use. Passmark, Prime95, or Cinebench (multi-core) work well for stress testing the CPU. The best first step would likely be to play some games and check the heat levels then. Benchmarks represent the extreme case, so actual performance isn't as crucial. Can I ask about your case and the fans inside it?

The setup includes Antec C3 with the fans already installed (3 intakes, 1 exhaust). I plan to test it for gaming and observe the results. Right now I don’t have a GPU, so I’ll aim for something less demanding.

You adjusted the temperature input for fan control on system 1, but the pump wasn’t working. Once you added the CPU, flow rate increased right away and temperatures returned to around 20°C. Appreciate the assistance!

Review additional configurations such as memory rate as well. BIOS upgrades frequently restore all settings back to defaults (or suggest doing so).
