System experiences frequent restarts on Kernal-Power 41.
Experiencing difficulties with kernel-power 41. The PC frequently shuts down and restarts unexpectedly, especially during gaming sessions. Attempts made so far: 1. Updated Windows to version 2, checked temperatures, updated BIOS, disabled auto-restart. This issue appears when XMP is enabled for RAM. System runs on an AMD R5 3600 with 8GB of single-channel RAM, using a B450 Pro AORUS motherboard with Wi-Fi. Verified that the motherboard supports the RAM. Possible causes: PSU, Motherboard, or RAM?
Faulty RAM could be a factor, but it's more likely this XMP profile isn't fully compatible with your motherboard. XMP specs were made for Intel, so AMD CPUs may not support them. Turn off XMP and run MemTest86 using the default settings to test the RAM.
I’m unsure about using memtest86, so I’ll need to consider an alternative. It’s possible you might need to purchase new memory with XMP 2.0.
