System experiences frequent hard crashes. Assistance needed!
Updated the power supply to a Corsair RM1000X. Beginning game testing, previously unstable titles caused crashes. Greetings fellow members, I'm new here and apologize if my approach is off. Hardware: Asus B550-F with Wi-Fi, XFX 6900 XT, AMD 5600X, 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX CL16 3600, EVGA Super Nova 850W GA. Recently my PC has been crashing during games, resetting everything and flashing the VGA light. The screen goes black, responds to headset audio, then restarts with a power button press. CSM resets each time. I've run a fresh Windows install, uninstalled DDU driver, updated BIOS, checked cables, disabled DOCP, reslot GPU, cleared SAM. It seems to occur only under heavy load (Jedi Survivor, Dead Island 2, Fortnite, MW2). Among those, only MW2 crashes immediately; others run smoothly. Long play sessions are possible with MW2. Jedi Survivor is the only one that causes instant failure. Normal tasks work fine. Need advice on what might be causing this. Thanks! Edited May 2, 2023 by McFloppy
