Hey everyone, my computer keeps showing a lot of BSODs, mostly related to memory management. After running MemTest86 on test 10, I saw a lot of errors. Trying to turn off XMP didn’t fix it. I tested each RAM stick individually in every motherboard slot and both passed without any issues. These results came from the latest stable BIOS and the newest beta version. I’m now thinking it might be a memory controller problem and would appreciate your advice on what to do next.

System details:
- OS: Windows 11 Pro
- Motherboard: B650M-HDV/M.2
- GPU: rx 6700X
- PSU: Corsair Rm850e
- SSD: WD Black SN770 2TB
- CPU: Ryzen 5 7600
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 6000MHz (CMK32GX5M2E6000C36)

Note: The exact RAM model isn’t listed on the QVL, but a different revision is available (CMK32GX5M2D6000C36), so it’s unlikely to be the cause unless XMP is disabled.

Did you verify it only with one dual channel configuration (such as A2 B2) or did you check both (A1 B1)? It might be a DIMM slot issue, it could fail, or there could be another obstruction inside. Ensure your RAM is connected correctly. I’ll go through your dump files next time.

Run sfc/scannow via cmd. Check the output for signs of RAM corruption. The system appears to function well with a single channel.

The motherboard features just two ports. I tried it with both sticks inserted, removed one, and tested it in both slots, then did it again using the other stick.

This set may vary significantly from your existing configuration, especially regarding RAM with EXPO profiles.

Could this problem occur even when the system runs at full speed?

sfc/scannow completed without detecting issues. DISM reported error 0x800f081f and was unable to locate source files.
