Hello everyone, yesterday my computer began to randomly BSOD every few minutes, showing the driver powerstate failure message. To attempt a fix, I powered down all OC components (CPU, GPU, EXPO) and ran memtest86 to test the RAM, which returned zero errors—thankfully, Corsair is performing well now, so no need for a return warranty. I also used BlueScreenViewer to analyze the crash dump. It checked ntoskrnl.exe and followed Reddit suggestions like running sfc /scannow and basic troubleshooting, but nothing resolved the issue. I decided to wait and try again tomorrow morning. During the night I turned off the PC, disconnected the PSU, and removed the C13 power cable from the PSU. In the morning, I didn’t experience any bluescreen, ran OCCT (CPU+RAM) and confirmed my drivers were up to date. It appears the problem has been resolved. Do you have any insights into what might have caused this? Wishing you all a wonderful new year! PC specs: CPU – AMD R7 9800X3D, GPU – XFX Mercury Radeon 9070XT, Motherboard – Gigabyte B650 Aorus ELITE AX V2, RAM – Corsair Vengeance DDR5 2x16 @ 6000MHz (CMK32GX5M2B6000Z30), Cooler – Thermalright Phantom Spirit.

Bluescreenview is a useless tool. There is no chance that this is related to Ntoskrnl.exe. Upload the actual dump files. Go to C:\Windows\Minidump (Sometimes Minidumps for some reason) and check if you have any minidump files. If you do, go back to the Windows folder and copy the Minidump folder itself to the Downloads folder (You can use the desktop if you don't have OneDrive syncing files). Zip the copied folder and attach it to a post.

Four dump files switch between audio issues on the iGPU and dedicated GPU. This pattern often occurs with AMD setups. Turn off the iGPU in the BIOS settings. The crash was traced to the USB controller on the motherboard. This doesn’t match typical problems, so checking your Gigabyte motherboard might help. Using Gigabyte Control Center could cause Driver_Power_State_Failure errors, but sometimes other drivers are blamed. I’ve reported the issue to Gigabyte, who say they don’t see anything wrong despite multiple reports from different users. TL;DR: Disable iGPU in BIOS and remove Gigabyte Control Center if installed.

Thank you! I have the control center set up. I will remove it and disable the iGPU.
