I have owned this PC for over a year and experienced no performance issues previously. However, I am now experiencing intermittent FPS lag. Specifically, while playing Football Manager 2019 (a game where I should achieve 144 FPS on max settings with my 144Hz monitor), I experience FPS drops to approximately 120 after around 20-30 minutes. Notably, I have disabled VSync in the Nvidia Control Panel and Nvidia Inspector, yet my FPS appears to consistently attempt to maintain 144. This issue began concurrently with experiencing lag while playing FIFA 19, where maintaining 144 FPS requires enabling VSync. Both games previously operated without lag. My temperatures remain within acceptable limits (never exceeding 65°C), and drivers are updated. I require assistance identifying the cause of these issues.
