I’ve upgraded my motherboard from a B450 to an X570, my processor from a Ryzen 5 2600 to a Ryzen 7 3700X, and while the performance has improved slightly, it hasn't resulted in a significant boost in frames. My specifications are: Gigabyte X570 gaming x, Ryzen 7 3700x, GTX 1070 FE, 16gb Ballistix tactical tracer 3000mhz, 600w psu, and a watercooler that keeps the CPU at around 65 degrees during gameplay. I’ve verified all drivers. I took a screenshot of the CPU usage while gaming to assess its normality, along with other statistics, as shown in the attached image.
Have you performed a complete reinstall of Windows? This is strongly advised following motherboard replacement.
Has the Windows operating system been completely reinstalled? This is strongly advised when replacing the motherboard. Furthermore, you also swapped out the CPU, providing an additional justification for a fresh installation. Additionally, attempt to overclock the RAM to at least 3200MHz; you will undoubtedly observe a performance improvement.
Following a recent reinstall, I experienced this issue previously due to a prior update. I intend to experiment with RAM overclocking, although my knowledge of the process is limited; typically, I simply enable XMP profiles.
