This problem keeps happening each time I power on my computer, lasting several months now. It usually appears just before the lock screen or 5-10 minutes after I reach my desktop and begin any tasks. Once it starts, the PC functions normally whether I use it heavily or just sit idle. According to what I've learned, the issue stems from outdated or missing device drivers, recent Windows updates, faulty hardware, or malware affecting key system files on Windows 10. From my own checks, I updated drivers and Windows, verified hardware health—especially my HDD which was a concern—and ran full scans with Windows Defender, but no threats were found. My PC remains clean physically, yet the error persists. It's frustrating because it's so annoying and I can't seem to resolve it. I also have another detail: my old 1080p LCD TV with HDMI input might be involved, and I ran a logging program that triggered BSOD errors consistently—"ntoskrnl.exe". How should I fix this? Sounds like something is very wrong with your OS (or with your drivers); ntoskrnl.exe is the Windows kernel . It's essentially saying that the OS kernel is crashing; I'm not even sure how it manages to display a BSOD in that condition. Does this still happen if you boot in Safe Mode? That should rule out any faulty drivers.

By the way, if you're encountering a BSOD, it should restart automatically instead of running normally. Are you asking if it functions correctly after a reboot?

It seems everything functions properly after a restart and safe mode boot. The Windows installation drive appears almost full, but that might be the issue. I didn’t manage to reinstall Windows despite attempts. Let me know if you need further help!

I attempted to reinstall Windows by following the on-screen prompts. The warning about blocking the process indicates a security setting or previous interference. Regarding your PC, here are its specifications: [Insert details such as processor, RAM, storage, etc.]

I attempted several methods, including resetting the PC through settings and using the Windows creation media tool from the website. In both cases, the process didn’t provide any details or explanations, only a message like “it can't be done now.”
