had no problems with Gigabyte in the past and if there were issues it was usually because I was trying to overclock on the Sandy Bridge and made a mistake. usually when you take out the CMOS battery, the system will revert to default settings, but any custom configurations related to your hardware will be lost and must be reset manually. anyway... good luck and I hope the problem is something simple to fix rather than a major issue.
