After reinstalling Windows 11 and updating the BIOS, my PC experiences random BSODs and occasional freezing during intense gaming sessions. It restarts by holding the power button, though it runs smoothly under normal conditions. Performance in games remains stable until the crash occurs. Hardware specs are adequate until the BSOD or slowdowns appear. Temperatures stay within normal ranges during heavy use and stress tests (CPU 60-75°C, GPU 40-55°C). Applications on the second and third drives often take a long time to launch—like Mod Organizer 2 needing over two minutes. System details: Windows 11 Home, version 10.0.26200, built on 07/08/2025. BIOS version 5041, installed fresh less than a week ago. Hardware was assembled in November 2020. Storage: ASUS ROG Strix X570-E, AMD Ryzen 3700X, RTX 3090, Corsair 3200MHz, 2x 16GB RAM, ASUS ROG THOR 850W PSU. Drives: Samsung 980 Pro (480GB), Crucial 1TB, Samsung 860 EVO (2TB). Cooling system is custom water loop. I've tried several fixes: reinstalling Windows and drivers, updating firmware, running chkdsk commands, moving game files to the C drive, and using a zip file guide. MemTest showed no issues. Please let me know if you need further help.

Did you switch between an older and a newer version before? I had to slow down my CPU to prevent the screen from freezing after the update, and it looks like most devices before 24h2 weren<|pad|>, not tested with SSE4.2a compiled kernels.

Thanks for your message. It seems you're not sure about the Windows 11 version you had before the reset and reinstall, but you were keeping updates active.

The tool didn’t find any dump files. Please verify manually at C:\Windows\Minidump. If present, move the folder to Downloads and compress it. Share the contents via CrystalDiskInfo for better analysis.

Consider it a potential storage issue. I'd use crystaldiskinfo and crystaldiskmark to assess the health of all three drives and verify their read/write speeds match expectations.

I checked but didn't find any minidump. I switched the options to 'complete dump' so next time I should get something.

Last night while playing a game on my 'C' drive that typically crashes with a black screen and no readout, I received messages spamming me before having to restart the machine using the power button. Sorry for the low quality; I had to grab them with my phone. It looks like there might be a drive issue, though all tests show the drive is functioning properly. The firmware is up to date, and CrystaldiskInfo reports everything as healthy with normal speeds. I suspect the problem is a connection loss to my 'C' drive. I plan to tell Windows to dump files to another drive and see if that resolves the issue. I also re-seated both M.2 drives last night and plugged my SATA SSD into another port on the motherboard, suspecting a driver problem. Despite reinstalling Windows twice, I still have issues.
