System crashes repeatedly on Fedora due to desktop issues
Occasionally doing nothing or pressing the alt tab causes the desktop to freeze while other apps stay responsive. Restarting helps but it occurs in less than a few minutes, suggesting the desktop is frozen. On Windows, closing the task manager with ctrl+alt+del and then restarting can resolve the issue. The only workaround I know is using alt-f4 or alt-f2 to open the terminal, though the top bar doesn't react. It seems like something simple might be missing.
I saw on Reddit that Linux doesn’t accept the default BIOS settings on Ryzen for power-on idle, and the issue didn’t get resolved.
