PC Specification: Ryzen 7 2700, 32GB RAM, 3200MHz B450, ASRock Steel Legend Zotac GTX 1070 Ti, 8GB, 650W Corsair CV650, 480GB NVMe SSD, Corsair Force M510, 2TB WD Black, 1TB WD Blue. Previously overclocked; now back to stock settings. When BSOD appears, even with XMP disabled, the issue persists. Generally, it triggers a crash during graphically demanding games. However, at 720p windowed mode with low graphics, it runs smoothly. Initially suspected a failing PSU (10-year-old 750W Corsair AX750), but after replacing it, performance improved significantly. After six months, the PC still experienced crashes across various games—except for browsing, basic 2D, or older 3D titles. Stress tests show stability under load, only failures in Warhammer Vermintide 2 at higher resolutions. Troubleshooting steps included resetting BIOS, reinstalling drivers via DDU, and considering a fresh Windows install. Most crashes occur briefly (flash) followed by BSOD and shutdown before any logs are saved. Occasionally the machine stays up but displays WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR, leading to generic guides that rarely help.

Didn't realize it mattered, but it didn't overheat. The peak temperature on the GPU was 48°C and CPU was 63°C. Both are using an old GTO setup. I ran Prime95 and FurMark at full speed for 30 minutes without any crashes.

First step would be to obtain DDU and updated GPU drivers, then launch DDU and apply the new drivers. Did you use MSI Afterburner or another tool for overclocking?

I've already reinstalled the drivers using DDU, even after a fresh Windows setup—it works. The GPU wasn't overclocked, though I have MSI Afterburner for monitoring. My CPU was boosted to 3.9GHz some time ago, but I've reset it back to stock for troubleshooting. The RAM was disabled from XMP profiles, effectively resetting the BIOS. Tomorrow I'll try to underclock the GPU slightly; maybe it's wearing out.

Could you provide the brand and model details? Also, let me know which BIOS version you're interested in checking.
