My computer is nearly two years old and has been running smoothly until recently. About six months ago, it began making unusual coil whine noises that would spike and cause the machine to shut down. After rebuilding it, the issue was resolved temporarily. A month later it reappeared again—when I pulled the 24-pin connector and held it in place, the problem stopped and the system stabilized (that’s strange). It worked well until a few months ago when critical BSODs started appearing. I suspect the graphics card was involved. I replaced my 1080 with an Accelero 4 on an RX570 chipset, which functioned perfectly for about a week. Then yesterday my Ethernet connection failed (Windows reported no connections), though I checked cables and everything seemed properly connected. I tried restarting, but the PC froze mid-restart and eventually didn’t power on at all. The CPU debug light stayed red constantly. I’ve restarted multiple times without success.

Here’s what I’ve tested:
1. Removed the second RAM stick and all unnecessary parts (drives, audio, front panel headers).
2. Reassembled everything, including the CPU—twice, no bent pins, 2700x model.
3. Cleared CMOS: unplugged the battery and reset the RTC headers, repeated twice but no improvement.
4. Tried booting from outside the case just in case of shorts—still no success.

Current specs:
- Intel Rog Strix X470i 7
- 2700MHz Trident Z 32GB
- AMD 970 Pro 512GB SSD
- WD Blue 2TB SSD
- Corsair SF 600 RAM
- M1 CPU (RX570)

I’m trying to figure out what’s causing the problem. All local shops are closed due to virus concerns.
