System boots directly using BIOS settings automatically.
It was time to improve my setup and I installed an MSI B560M Bazooka motherboard, an i5-11400F processor, and a single 1x16 TForce RAM. I kept my existing SSD running Windows 10. The issue is it keeps booting into BIOS every time the PC starts, showing all drives. Perhaps I need to configure the SSD as a boot device, but I’m unsure how to do that or if that’s the root cause. This was my first experience tweaking a PC besides upgrading the GPU last year, so I’ll follow any advice and tips I can find. Thanks.
Consider turning on CSM, it seems your previous setup was stuck in Legacy BIOS. UEFI will only work if you upgrade the BIOS to support it. Your old Windows installation won't boot from that version.
Try launching from the Windows install USB without installing it. This should insert the Windows boot manager into your BIOS. If you need to reinstall Windows, that would be the better choice now that you've upgraded your platform. You also have one RAM stick—if you can return it and get two, that would significantly improve performance. A single stick will cause a major slowdown.
