Recently my computer has been slowing down, especially during startup. It stays on for about five minutes or more after being powered on for over eight hours. I replaced some RAM because one module wasn’t working, but that only provided a short fix. The temperatures are normal too. System: Ryzen 5600X with 32GB Corsair Vengeance 3200 (new RAM) EVGA KO 6GB 2060 Corsair CV650 80+ Bronze power supply ASUS ROG Strix B-450F Gaming ATX AM4 MOBO Coolermaster 240L liquid CPU cooler Western Master 1TB SSD (possibly a 7-year-old drive).
Explore BIOS options and fix static values for all core multipliers and ratios to 40, set VCore to 1.25v llc medium. Proceed with Prime95 large FFTs and observe if RAM starts failing—this suggests unstable RAM, which is frustrating. Manually adjusting CPU frequency and voltage eliminates the issue, as you'd expect around 4.4–4.6GHz for all cores on Zen3.
Probably still a RAM problem—enter advanced mode (f7), open AI tweaker, adjust CPU core ratio to 40, set voltage to fixed, then to 1.25v. In digi+ VRM submenu, calibrate both VDDCR and SOC load lines to medium. Save and exit BIOS, then run Prime95 large FFTs. Capture a screenshot of the thaiphoon burner since you might need to tweak your RAM manually; knowing the IC will be useful.
