After my recent upgrade I’m facing stability issues with my components. My RAM speeds are off, showing 2333MHz instead of the expected 3600MHz. The CPU also spikes to 4.2MHz under light loads, which is making fans in both the CPU and case work harder. Do you have any suggestions on what to check or adjust to resolve this?
Thank you
For your RAM, adjust DOCP to match its speed capabilities. The brief increase in performance under light load up to 4.2 is typical. This behavior is normal with fans and higher RPMs. Which cooler do you have? It will only increase speed when necessary—either because the CPU generates heat it needs, or because your cooler isn’t enough for low/ RPM operation with effective cooling.
