PC specifications: RTX 3060, R5 3600, 24GB RAM, 512GB SSD. Greetings, I own a 200 Hz monitor from Z-edge. It's a 2560x1080 ultra wide display. Because of the long cable I use, I'm limited to a maximum of 144fps. That's not the main problem. My concern is that I mistakenly set it to 200Hz and it accepted it, staying at that frequency. After restarting my PC, I realized the available options changed to 60,75,100. The 100 setting triggers an odd Adobe After Effects glitch filter, causing shaking and visual issues even at 800x600 resolution. It seems the issue isn't related to cable data transfer. Have anyone encountered this before? What steps have you tried so far?

I'm not sure how to respond directly, but thank you! Adjusting the cable resolved the issue. Reinserting the long cable didn't help, but using a separate cable fixed it all. Now the long cable functions properly too. Appreciate your time. Spooky indeed. It looked like switching another cable made the monitor and PC talk again. Even the long cable worked properly now. Changing the long cable didn’t help, but the short one did. If you want to see my configuration, I have a monitor mount with 80 inches of reach and six degrees of freedom that I placed on my bed.
