My NAS functions well, but recently it has begun to hum slightly. A video is attached for your reference. Be aware that the phone camera is positioned very close to the sound source, possibly making it seem louder than it actually is. If the room remains quiet, I can detect the hum about 11-12 feet away, though it's not overly bothershing—just mildly bothersome. The humming isn't constant; sometimes it disappears when I lightly touch the top right or back right area of the unit, and then stops. It might be related to a fan or the side panel, but the screws appear secure. This could also be a fan-related issue. Synology DS918+.mp4
Pressing your finger over these spots halts the noise (as long as you keep it there).
