Sync Trident Z RGB only for the 1 RAM stick.
You've received a new Trident z RGB set, but only one stick is working properly. On your Asus Aura, the first stick stays at a static color while the second transitions through all colors. If you place the stick in slot A1 and the other in B1, it might help. The issue persists even after a restart. Someone has a solution—please share!
Switch the slots. If the problematic stick is in the working slot, the DRAM stick may be faulty. If the opposite stick isn't functioning in the other slot, the issue could relate to the motherboard. Which ASUS board are you using? Have you turned on SPD mode? (Important tips: http://www.gskill.com/en/download/view/t...gb-control) Installing multiple RGB control apps at once might lead to problems.
Which ASUS motherboard model do you own? Are you using the most recent BIOS update? As I previously said, you might need to turn on SPD mode in the BIOS settings. Currently, we aren't sure if the issue is related to DRAM or a hardware problem—not just software.
It might be too late, but I have the fix. Remove all rgb programs connected to RAM except the one you need. This should resolve the issue.
