Just checking if setting the CPU to sync all cores improved performance without overclocking. I turned off C-States and got a much smoother, faster system. The other option used Enhanced Intel SpeedStep, keeping the CPU around 3806MHz but still boosting performance. My PC feels snappier even with a 250GB SSD and a high-end GPU setup. I disabled boost to help with newer games since my machine is starting to slow down. Core parking was also turned off for better stability in recent titles.

On non-K processors, this adjustment lowers the peak turbo boost, causing any single-threaded tasks to perform more slowly. https://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Core_i7/Intel-Core i7-4790.html 3800 MHz (4 cores) 3900 MHz (3 cores) 4000 MHz (1 or 2 cores) When the C states are turned off, you’re restricted to a maximum of 38 multipliers. Activate core C3 in the BIOS and then your CPU can utilize the 39 and 40 multipliers when it’s lightly loaded. Non-K CPUs don’t allow full-core turbo. You may run all cores at 3800 MHz, but you won’t reach the 4000 MHz setting available on K-series chips.
