I only tried it for 30 minutes since I installed it this morning before heading to the office. I observed that physx for the cloth performs worse than unity. Unity provided a very smooth and responsive cloth reaction to every movement. In the syndicate, it looks significantly less effective. It seems like they reduced the cloth movement phase to improve overall performance. Anyone else see this?

I'm still figuring out if I should start this as my first AC game.

I believe the game is quite solid in Witcher 3. But honestly, those framing drops feel a bit silly. Maybe you should give Black Flag a shot—it really did an excellent job. I’m super into it (a true pirate fan). Yep, I think they can’t match Black Flag’s quality. That title set a really high standard for every upcoming Action RPG, right? Is it even possible to reach that level? From what I saw in about half an hour, the character movement and animations are fine. The only issues were with the cloth physics and the mouse sensitivity.

Avoid discrediting the original tale by choosing only ACI and ACII.

Cloth runs at a fixed 30fps which causes the visual issues, that’s why it feels unstable. Trying a different controller might help. The game was built for that platform, not for mouse or keyboard input—it’s quite surprising.

I don't get why they do this. That unity cloth physx was really great.
