Pause the download process (this could be inconvenient) and attempt to remove the Bitraider directory.

Additionally, consider turning off any antivirus firewall you have active (or permit swtor.launcher and swtor.exe to bypass it)

Did you remove Bitraider and permit swtor.launcher and swtor.exe to bypass your firewall? Or did you turn off your firewall?

I cleared everything and began anew, deleting any downloaded files and restarting the system. Issue fixed!
