My Asus K53e uses an Intel Celeron B815 with a 35W processor. The RPGA988B socket fits the same processor you're considering. Since your chip isn't soldered and you have an H1445 motherboard, you should be able to upgrade to a Core i7 2670QM 45W processor.

The main concern is whether the cooling system can manage the rise in power output, even if it drops slightly.

The laptop comes with an option for the CPU, ensuring proper cooling. Keep in mind to purchase fresh thermal paste since it will need replacement.
