God help me, the motherboard and old DELL power supply rely on DELL's unique e-waste connectors. A regular ATX power adapter won't fit. You'll need a DELL-compatible one. You might find some cheap adapters on AliExpress or eBay, but I can't review them. What are your PC specs? CPU, RAM? It could be easier to remove the main parts and move everything into a new ATX case.
It runs on an i5-9400f with 16GB DDR4 RAM. My system isn’t mine, and I’m spending no more than $20. It needs to function properly but I’m keeping costs low.
I’m not purchasing a new GPU. The only available options are the power connectors on the PSU, but there are no PCIe slots and just the necessary components for activation.
You determine the problem by checking if the PSU is faulty, as a failing power supply can prevent the system from starting. I’ll try another Dell PSU from eBay.
So it's not a bad combo of parts. Unless you are willing to get a new motherboard + case, you don't really have an option.... Other then get a higher rating compatible DELL power supply with the required PCI-E connection for the RX-570 The 'Dell PCB045" model came back with a 290W PSU. So I'm assuming the problem is, OP needed a higher output rating PSU with a PCI-E 6-pin / 8-pin connection. I'm pretty sure that dinky little PSU only has connectors for motherboard / CPU / SATA.
I discovered a good offer on FB marketplace at $100 for a mobile case CPU and AI components. Everything else I require is covered, but the issue lies with the motherboard—it lacks the connector needed to resell the items I don’t need. There’s plenty available to recoup my investment.
