Switching rapidly between DRAM and CPU Processing speed variations Data flow changes dynamically
I own a custom-built system that keeps malfunctioning once I pass the BIOS. Initially, I used an MSI X570 A-Pro motherboard which let me boot into BIOS and even run memtest86+ smoothly. After passing the BIOS, installing an OS failed quickly, showing flashing debug lights between CPU and DRAM. I checked the CPU pins for damage, tried different memory slots with a single module, swapped power supplies, and attempted installations of Windows and Ubuntu thinking the board was faulty. I replaced it with a B450 Aorus Pro WiFi (Rev 1.0). After the upgrade, everything functioned properly. I returned the 2700X for repair and updated June 30, 2020.
I face a comparable problem except with my PC, which randomly turns the screen grey and shows DRAM and CPU lights switching. I've updated my CPU driver before but it didn't last, so maybe try that again. Current specs: AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 16GB RAM (2x8GB), DDR4 3200MHz, B450 Aorus M motherboard (rev 1.0), MSI Radeon Rx 570, EVGA 650 BQ Bronze power supply.
