Hello, I received your friend's old Xbox account from the US. He owns an Xbox 360 with more than a year of Live Gold remaining. I have a PC and wish to switch the Live Gold to Game Pass. The issue is that the account region is set to the USA, and I don’t have a payment method based in the USA. Can I somehow transfer the entire account to Europe, including the Live Gold, without losing months? If not, is there a way to work around the payment requirement? I have $15 available. Thank you in advance!

It seems unlikely, though Microsoft might have a solution for it. This would be a matter for Microsoft directly. Region restrictions are something many businesses don’t take too seriously, and often there’s no option to transfer an account. The real challenge would be relocating your friends’ account to Europe (unless you’re planning to use it in two places. If that were possible, it’d already be a business).
