I'm thinking of upgrading my 8600k to a 5800X and wonder if it's a good idea right now? I see quite some games already pinning my 8600k at 100% and while in some cases I feel it's bad optimization of games (e.g. Battlefield 2042) I fear this won't get better with other games in the future. That and I'm afraid that CPUs might or might not be hit with a shortage or crypto-demand, right now I can still get a 5800X for normal prices. A second-hand 9000 Intel is just 80 bucks cheaper where I live so it's not much of a saving there. I thought of waiting till Ryzen 6000 but with the high DDR5 prices and the general craziness getting new things at launch nowadays that might not be the best idea I feel. Thanks for opinions in advance
