Hello, I own an older laptop (HP Probook 650 G1) that I recently installed Windows 11 using Rufus. I have a previous backup image (Acronis TI) from when the laptop was running Windows 10. If I revert to Windows 10 later, can I reinstall Windows 11 at that time without worrying about additional costs, since it was already installed on my system? Thank you.

What are the specifications of this system? What issues are you encountering that require attention?

My laptop falls into the category of unsupported models, and currently I favor Windows 10 because it performs better under these conditions.

Then, for that laptop....go back to W10 and leave it.
There is no guarantee that an unsupported system will remain working with W11.
And MS changes that all the time.
But to answer your question, yes, going again to W11 will probably be OK, licensewise.
Actual operation is a whole different thing.

They ignored the Pentium 4s, Core 2s, and many others that needed SSE4.2 with the 24H2 update, though I've seen methods to overcome this. I'm curious if a Pentium 4 with the NX bit could function with the 24H2 update, since it was already challenging to run Windows 11 on one even in earlier versions. It would likely be too slow for meaningful tasks. A Core 2 Duo or Quad with sufficient RAM and an SSD would be a better option.
