Switch to Nvidia and remove AMD drivers.
I'm having trouble because I accidentally removed the AMD Catalyst install manager, which means I can't delete the drivers. The new AMD control panel isn't working either since I don't have an active card installed. Plus, my old card is gone, so I can't just use it to reinstall the control panel or clean up the drivers. I'm frustrated by the constant warnings about my card no longer being recognized and can't even open the driver utility. Thanks for your help!
Remove the driver from 'Programs and Features' in your Control Panel. If that doesn't resolve the issue, proceed to: Navigate to Program Files (x86), Program Files, %AppData%, and under C:, then delete any files containing 'AMD' or similar patterns.
DDU functions adequately. However, it feels as though you're employing a nuclear weapon.
Here it is. This utility comes from AMD itself. You can find it at the provided link, but using it will delete all AMD-related files across your system.
