I frequently encounter a problem where my screen freezes while switching between windows during gameplay (Valorant or FH5). I can still move the mouse and hear audio for about 15 seconds, but both monitors go black afterward. I’m forced to restart the case’s front I/O to bring them back on. After replacing my GPU (RTX 3050 STRIX) and installing a fresh graphics driver, the issue continues. I assumed overheating was the cause since I moved the PC to a different spot behind the monitors, but it returned when I placed it back. I ran a Windows Memory Diagnostic with no errors and completed a two-hour FurMark test without any problems. I’m wondering if this relates to Windows issues and if anyone has experienced similar problems. Any advice would be appreciated! Updated July 8, 2024 by leeeyum
