this was an older issue where the pc couldn't connect to wifi because airplane mode turned on automatically. you can search online for reasons behind this behavior—microsoft hasn't resolved it by fixing the service settings, showing how many issues remain unresolved. currently, the problem is that the wifi icon on the bottom left changed to the airplane mode icon, and when the old fix was applied, the icon stayed stuck in that state. what steps should be taken to resolve this? how can you troubleshoot it?

Are there any icons on your keyboard for these function keys? They might be labeled differently depending on the device. Could you confirm if you're using the correct key?
