I aim to transfer my C drive to the new SSD I purchased and have cloned it there. However, when I try to boot, it prompts me to choose a different drive and restart. Anyone know how to fix this? Also, why isn't it working? If the program I used for cloning was simple, it should have been straightforward.
Perform a fresh installation on the SSD. Avoid shutting down HDDs while connecting to the SSD.
Disconnect the HDD, apply the operating system to the SSD, reconnect everything and restore the boot sequence to the SSD.
Transfer a Windows ISO file to a USB drive using the appropriate installation tool.
I aim to discover the method and observe the results by searching online.
