I have a Netgear 5-port unmanaged switch (GS605) trying to link to your Nest Wi-Fi. Everything worked until I had to reset the Nest Wi-Fi. After setting up the mesh network, plugging in the switch caused the internet to drop completely—WiFi was still active but no connection. Removing the switch restored the internet. Connecting my computer directly to the Wi-Fi fixed the issue, leaving three devices without a direct link. This suggests a problem with the router settings rather than the switch itself. Could be related to the router configuration? The switch being unmanaged might also play a role. My NIC could be the culprit too.

Checking your setup: single Nest unit or mesh configuration? Are you linking the switch to the main Nest hub or a satellite device? Would it help testing with a different switch? Are there any firmware updates available for Nest?
