Your Windows 7 Home Premium product key won't function with Windows 7 Ultimate. Files like photos, videos, documents will remain intact after a clean installation. Most game and application files typically won't work post-clean install. You'd need to reinstall all games and apps unless you opt for Windows Anytime Upgrade to upgrade from Home Premium to Ultimate.

you will have to do a manual transfer... windows installer wont let you... but you can copy it and then paste it after yo install it.
