Just now upgraded from my i5-6600 to a 3900x with a B550 Strix gaming board. When I started using my PC, I noticed screen tearing mostly during in-game cutscenes for games like Witcher Wild Hunt and Horizon Zero Dawn. Running on an RTX2070 and a 4K monitor at 60Hz, I was getting steady 60 FPS before the change. My setup includes a 650 Bronze 80-core PSU, 16GB 3200MHz RAM, and 80GB of storage. I've experimented with G-Sync and VSync, changed game settings, and reinstalled drivers, but nothing seems to resolve the issue. Am I missing something obvious?

A new Windows setup is recommended after swapping motherboards, to avoid driver conflicts. Also, place RAM in slots 2 and 4, and ensure DOCP is turned on in BIOS.

Sure, I'll give it a shot right away once I'm back.
