Now that I have the right monitors, I'm focusing on improving my PC. I'm using an ASRock A320M-ITX motherboard, a Ryzen 7 1700 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a MSI GTX 1080. The first thing I need to do is upgrade the motherboard to unlock overclocking potential and eliminate that performance limit before moving on to the CPU. The ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 is available for $142 on Newegg and seems compatible with my current setup, though I'm also exploring alternatives. After that, I plan to replace the CPU with a 32GB RAM upgrade, while keeping the GPU unchanged.

Which CPU are you thinking of replacing? If it's a Ryzen 4000, you should consider B550 or X570, unless AMD decides otherwise. On Newegg you can find the Asus B450-I for $134, which offers significant improvements over the board you're considering.

Your 1700 might be running significantly slower than intended due to the A320 board you're using. Consider getting the upcoming B550 motherboard as recommended.
