I own a home PC that runs Windows 11 on an onboard NVMe drive. It also has some separate RAM sticks attached. The current setup uses a specific motherboard with a CPU and lots of memory. I want to upgrade to a new board with a different processor and more RAM. Can I just swap out the old parts and plug in the new ones? If so, will Windows 11 still work without reinstalling or losing my files? Thanks, Nevica

Reinstalling an operating system will never mean losing all your important files. In fact, it's often best to delete everything completely and start fresh. This reset is frequently necessary after installing the OS.
