I assembled a fresh PC roughly a month ago, but it ceased functioning after about two weeks. Through some checks, I’m convinced the motherboard is the issue. The board I used was reliable during its lifespan, yet it lacked the necessary ports. It wasn’t a major problem, just a need for an additional fan header. Considering the stock status of my current board, what challenges might arise when switching to a different one? If I stick with the same chipset, should everything function properly?

Ensure the chipset matches your requirements, verify the dimensions align with the enclosure, confirm RAM compatibility (DDR3 or DDR4), and note that newer models typically use DDR4.

It’s clear you’re asking about troubleshooting methods and details about the issue. What steps were taken to resolve the problem? Which board was involved? Was it covered by warranty?
