I've tried different motherboards and CPUs with the same SSD for one build without any problems. It should work fine. You might want to remove all drivers from your Windows setup before switching, but wait until you install the new hardware first. Some problems can happen if drivers are installed ahead of time, though it's not dangerous to download them in advance.
