I had already managed to remove the socket successfully, avoiding any harm to the capacitors or the motherboard after multiple attempts on different boards. ^^

They require roughly an hour to handle that task. Another issue: Did you check the back of the socket? There are many SMD parts... It’s not feasible due to the components you’ll need to swap out.

I checked the back of it too. As mentioned before, I managed to take out a socket already. I’ll give it another shot since I often receive boards either for free or at a low price, and getting a new socket isn’t expensive.
