Hello there, I’m upgrading from an i5 6500 to a newer i5 10600KF with a Gigabyte Z490 Vision G. Since streaming games is important to me, I want to make sure the upgrade won’t disrupt my setup. I have one boot drive and two extra storage drives, so I’m thinking about keeping most of my data intact. Would this change mean I need to reinstall Windows? If yes, what additional steps should I follow? Also, do you think I should link a video stream for testing? I’ve built systems before, but swapping CPUs and motherboards in an existing machine isn’t something I’ve done yet. Thanks!

Are you sure? There might be issues if the new device doesn't match the existing hardware or software requirements.

You're asking for clarification about voltage issues. Could you provide more details on the specific problem you're experiencing? This will help identify the cause and possible solutions.

Your current motherboard is MATX. Can an ATX fit in your system? Also, could you share the specifications for your RAM and power supply unit?

I own a H510 from NZXT, a new piece recently. My Corsair VS550 PSU isn’t modular and needs an upgrade soon. The RAM is 2*8GB HyperX Fury DDR4 at 2133 MHz—though it’s slow, it was the only option I had when assembling my original build, which is why I chose Intel over AMD (and honestly it was more affordable).
